The Junior Academy Program is a developmental training program for Recreational level soccer players aged 6-8 years old. The program is designed to provide young players with an introduction to professional training and reinforce the basic soccer concepts that further player development for this age group. The Jr. Academy program is offered in addition to their recreational teams and does not interfere with participation on their current teams. All Participants must be members of current DDYSC recreational teams.

Jr. Academy training sessions will be conducted for six weeks. Participants will attend one training session a week. Fees for the Jr. Academy are $70.00 for facility members and $85.00 for program members and are paid to the Decatur-DeKalb YMCA.

The Spring 2012 Junior Academy sessions will be held on Friday’s from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. All Sessions will be held at the Boys and Girls Club Field in Oakhurst. The program will run for 6 weeks with two built in rain out/ make up weeks. Each participant will recieve a Junior Academy Training Shirt.
