The Decatur DeKalb YMCA Soccer Club was formed in 1968, as the first organized soccer program in the State of Georgia. The DDYSC remains the oldest soccer program in Georgia and after 40 years shows no signs of slowing down. The DDYSC has already begun training second generation players and will soon be starting to train third generation players.
Currently, the DDYSC includes a Recreational, Academy, and Select program; and in the spring 2009, the DDYSC will start a Junior Academy Program. Combining all of those elements, DDYSC remains a leader in creating a competitive, enjoyable, and full service soccer program for all children.
As the patriarch of Georgia Soccer the DDYSC will continue to lead the way for another 40 years.
