Pre-Academy Program

8U/7U PROGRAM - FALL 2020 & Spring 2021

Pre-Academy ID Clinic sign up and Fall 2020/Spring 2021 registration starts July 1!

Players born in 2013, 2014, and 2015 are eligible.

The DDYSC Pre-Academy program is an opportunity for enthusiastic soccer loving six and seven year old boys and girls to increase their soccer development in a more focused and structured learning environment.  It’s a great introduction to club soccer and professional training and is a stepping stone to higher level competitive soccer in academy and select.

Pre-Academy players will be evaluated and selected at ID clinic sessions held at the end of May/beginning of June each year, and players joining are asked to commit to a full year, which includes the fall and spring seasons.  There may be the opportunity to tryout between the fall and spring seasons, but these tryouts depend on our numbers and aren’t guaranteed.  It is advised that players trying out have at least a year of organized soccer experience.

ID Clinics

New Players interested in Pre-Academy can attend one of two ID Clinic sessions to see if Pre-Academy is the right choice.

Pre-Academy ID Clinics – Wed., July 8 & July 22 from 6:00pm to 6:30pm at Windsor Parkway

(Note: Pre-Academy in-season training will be at the Dekalb School of the Arts fields, but our ID Clinics will be at Windsor Parkway soccer complex at 940 Windsor Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30342 due to Dekalb County Parks & Rec and Dekalb County Schools fields being closed in July.)
